The Mikelang Borg Drama Centre in Malta participates actively in the education of children, young people and adults.  The Centre encourages the exploration of ideas and values, instigates the imagination, stimulates intellectual and aesthetic development and pushes back all those frontiers which limit discovery and innovation.

• The skills through which a person can understand his/herself and relationships with others and this through critical analysis based on dramaturgical exploration.
• The transformation of personal experience into a creative product based on thought, critical judgement and theatrical action.
• The development of communication skills through various “drama” ways in such a manner that interactivity with others is assured.
• The communication of ideas and emotions through language, free expression and movement in real and imaginary contexts.
• The participation in theatre-projects within the community for the purpose of social development and in order to neutralize prejudice and exclusion.
• The serious preparation of student-actors so that these can acquire technical variety in dramatic art both as regards formal and also experimental forms based on quality and competent training.
